Day 7 - a Year by the Sea
January 7, 2007 by OrientSee.

We walked Deer Island again today. It was 50 degrees which is warm but not as tropical as yesterday was. The air was clear and it was possible to see from Cape Ann in the North to Scituate in the South. The day was bright and a joy to breathe in. Everything seemed so close and near that it seemed possible to jump across the water to downtown Boston. The picture is of Point Shirley in Winthrop with East Boston just beyond. The ducks are bobbing in the Atlantic and all is well in this small corner of everything.
Ciao!
