Day 40 - a Year by the Sea

The path goes ever on. Walking through the reeds is an amphibian experience except when winter makes it easier. There is only one animal in the marsh big enough to make a path this wide. Not only that but some one must be out in the reeds fairly often to make such a highway. It’s actually exciting to do this for the first time, since you have no way of knowing what’s beyond the next bend. Which is all very ironic for me personally, since this was the last day of work. I am now retired and all I know is that the road goes ever on (or path in this instance).

Ciao!
