Day 47 - a Year by the Sea

As I was diving off our local barrier reef, I turned on my back while about 30 feet down and caught this sight of sea fronds waving in the current. Well not really. This willow tree has very slender yellow golden branches. (It’s where woven willow baskets come from.) Looking up into the canopy, I thought reef. All it needs is Nemo and you might just have believed me. Even though it wasn’t, it still is a gift on a very cold winter day. I’ll probably not be out into the marsh for a while. I fell twice on the ice so I need to behave less like a twelve year old and more like a reasonable grandfather who has an artificial left hip.

Ciao!
