Day 62 - a Year by the Sea

This is Belle Isle Inlet looking towards Winthrop. There was no wind as the still surface shows. Shortly after taking this picture, a jet passed overhead. Nothing remarkable in that since the runway is less than a half mile from where I was standing. Sometimes when a plane passes by, the wingtip vortices are not broken up immediately. A few seconds go and the plane has clearly disappeared from view. Then this whirling gentle roar fills your ears. It’s not loud like the engines but it does fill up your hearing. It’s as if the aliens were about to snatch you up. Very spooky and very very beautiful. That’s what I heard.
