Day 73 - a Year by the Sea
March 14, 2007 by OrientSee.
Looking very much not like a wetland, the Winthrop side of Belle Isle Marsh has hundreds of these granite building blocks scattered all over the place. Some are even larger. I wonder where they all came from and for what. The result is very strange and a little like Stonehenge gone wild. This particular pile could harbor any number of vicious evil things (imagination running off the cliff here). Actually, I hope to find all kinds of neat snakes and stuff (coyote dens?) in later explorations.
Ciao!
