Day 107 - a Year by the Sea

The wretched weather continues. The gulls are doing fine on Revere Beach. The tides are sweeping the ocean floor and throwing all kinds of gull delights up on the sand. There’s a crowd of gulls picking through the debris and fighting with each other. Noisy, bad tempered and loud. Once they take flight though, it’s a different story. They surf the wind with great elegance. Often there seems no purpose to their flight except pure delight. They are having great fun.

Ciao!
