Day 156 - a Year by the Sea

dewdrops.jpg

This morning, the marsh was two things, green and wet. It dawned on me how big a solar power plant the marsh is. For a huge distance, the once dried up yellow-gold grass was now all green and lush.  There was a very large number of birds feeding on insects and seeds where a few months ago there was only cold dead grass. The marsh was doing its other thing, sponging up water. With all the rain, it soaked up huge amounts and all the little pools were full and I did need the knee high rubber boots that I was wearing. Everywhere there was water and green growing life.

Ciao!
