Day 161 - a Year by the Sea
June 10, 2007 by OrientSee.
Lagomorph. Mr. BunnyMan. Maybe a little too cute but strangely I don’t see them often. It was dusk when I saw this rabbit which is a time when I am seldom near the marsh. I know that all you sophisticated observers of nature and country folk belittle us city folk for even paying any attention to such animals. What you don’t appreciate is that for us they are strange and unusual. We have rats, skunks, raccoons and even the occasional opossum but I am always fascinated to watch them. They are often are only connection outside a zoo to wildlife. To see a coyote or a wild turkey has me bejabbering away for days. What I wonder do you country folk find fascinating?
Ciao!
