Day 166 - a Year by the Sea

Another example of humdrum. These are a variety of dandelion, the terror of the perfect lawn. Just dandelions. Yet, massed together the result is an exultant cry of yellow. Not just yellow but in your face, up your nose and in your eyeballs yellow. They are not endangered native orchids or transplants from South America. Just ordinary dandelions. I’m easy to keep happy and these make feel very good indeed.

Ciao!

  1. Gerald says:

    massed dendelions

here they have come and gone; they usally appear just after the dafodills have died off — now it is the daisies and buttercups that invade the lawn.
