Day 183 - a Year by the Sea
July 2, 2007 by OrientSee.
This is the Romanesco Broccoli of last week. The sumac flowers turned red. Time moves on and things change. The mockingbird nest is empty after the eggs hatched just a week and a half ago. The Redwing Blackbirds are all noisy as usual but now it’s with the newly fledged youngsters. Belle Isle is dizzy with change. Summer just came and everything is trying to squeeze in as much growing as possible. Ripe with grass and fruit and youngsters, the marsh isĀ bursting with life. It puts a extra oomph in every step.
Ciao!
