Day 191 - a Year by the Sea

The fog was rolling in along the beach and there he was (shiver me timbers!) Jack Sparrow. Revere Beach is hosting a sand sculpting contest. The professionals have been working several days now and are not finished. Their skill is very impressive. It is just sand after all. The impermanence of it all is very appealing. These will stand till time, wind and kids decide to collapse the sand into a featureless pile. We all tend to let the Mona Lisa and the Pyramids obscure the creative present.
