Day 202 - a Year by the Sea

Yesterday, I surprised this Great Egret and myself. I was over at the Jade Pearl (the old radio station in Revere) and I walked from behind a stand of reeds and there he was quietly feeding. With a complaining squawk, he took off over my head and this picture resulted. I always feel like an intruder when I disturb one of the animals in the marsh but it happens. It is a sight to see and hear.
