Day 216 - a Year by the Sea

Three musketeers. Although we all tend to dislike starlings ( they run in crowds, are noisy, are messy, aren’t native, etc. ), they certainly like themselves. If you see only one starling, it’s because you don’t see the other six who are there too. They feed off seed and fruit and usually don’t like anybody getting close. It’s an intense, private clan doing their own thing. They are not pretty to look at but they are fun to watch. They are always moving around and occasionally they’ll all rise up like a cloud of dark smoke. The more that you watch, the more you’ll enjoy.
