Day 218 - a Year by the Sea

Early morning. A small flock of Snowy Egrets flying over to Belle Isle Marsh for food and company. No planes, no trains and no cars. Just the original flying machines making their majestic way to a quiet pond. Their unhurried flight is a counterpoint to the vivid sunrise sky. It’s the church that I worship in, the here and now. It’s this deep visceral experience of what surrounds me that is so satisfying.
