Day 224 - a Year by the Sea

Another sunset. The big excitement tonight is the Perseids. Around ten tonight, if the clouds will cooperate, we should be able to watch a meteor shower. Fireworks from up above the stratosphere. Shooting stars are winning lottery tickets. You don’t do anything but wait and sometimes you get a real reward. Sometimes you just wait and shred your ticket. It’s a kind of active passivity. In any case here’s hoping for some streaks of light.
