Day 230 - a Year by the Sea
There are strange sights in the marsh somedays. There are several of these same photographs hung up in trees in the park. If we were closer to an art school, I would immediately suspect an art project but East Boston might as well be Topeka to most art students. It may be some prank played on the woman in the photo. If so, she would probably have torn them down. It is most likely an act of random craziness. Who knows why? No matter what the reason, it certainly adds a real touch of manmade whimsy to Belle Isle. It’s not trash or destruction and I, for one, find it enjoyable.
Ciao!

It’s entirely possible that it’s an art project. East Boston actually has a lot of artists living in it. There is an East Boston Artists Group many with studios at Atlantic Works down by Maverick Square. :0)
