Day 232 - a Year by the Sea

Sunrise unretouched. Yes, that’s just the way it looked. I was up early getting ready for a bike ride with my brother and caught this over Beachmont (Revere) and Belle Isle Marsh. Morning sunrise can be a huge surprise. It seems to happen faster than sunset. Run to get the camera and it’s a different sky from a moment ago. I’ve always liked the morning best. The quiet and the expectant air of possibility give the hour a refreshing sensibility. It’s like taking a hot shower without getting wet. When you get a color burst like this sunrise, it’s just a bonus start to the day.
