Day 305 - a Year by the Sea

I’ve never been to Las Vegas although we did drive through Reno once so I’ve never seen the bright lights of the Strip. Tokyo at night looks very impressive but it’s only second hand for me since I’ve never been to Japan. I’ve only seen the Northern Lights once and they were spectacular but I get to see the foxtails all the time. Las Vegas will have to be far better than I can imagine to compete with this sort of display. When there’s snow on the ground and the setting sun is just right, the phragmites become an eye arresting experience. It sounds like small town pride boasting but this kind of light goes beyond that. Try finding a stand of reeds and see if you don’t agree.
