Day 317 - a Year by the Sea

When you live outside, it is very helpful to have the supermarket next door. Most of the crabapples have been untouched until lately. It might be that everything else is gone or the frost improved the flavor. Now the small birds are eating from the fruit all the time. The little crabapples have been available for months but now they have become the choice. We are getting a reprieve from the real cold weather for a few days so I hope to see more of these small birds for a while.
