Day 320 - a Year by the Sea
November 16, 2007 by OrientSee.
Sunrise over the Belle Isle Marsh not the Eye of Mordor. Sunrise was spectacular but somewhat ominous. We have had a lot of cloud cover and rain the last several days. At this time of year the sun rises almost as far south as will happen at this latitude. The angle because of our seasonal planetary tilt and the sun’s apparent movement south make for spectacular sunrises. Our house looks east so it is very easy to watch the marsh and the sun. This rise had me frozen in place before our windows as it happened. The dramatic light of autumn almost guarantees great skies to watch.
Ciao!
