Idiots at play. In this photo there are three camouflaged hunters with shotguns aimed at some target, presumably ducks. To the left is the Saratoga St. bridge which connects East Boston to Winthrop. In the center is Belle Isle Seafood (good fried seafood) and a gas station. To the right is an Osprey platform and the Orient Heights T train yard. At the base of the platform you can make out the shooting blind that they have erected to observe and fire from. What you cannot see is that the Osprey platform lies directly beneath the flight path of airplanes landing at Logan Airport. At this point the planes are very close to the ground. I heard them fire twice. I called the Boston Police twice from my cell phone and of course, the hunters and their dog packed up and left with no appearance from the Boston Police. These guys are a hazard in so many ways that I can’t even begin to tell you without getting all balled up with anger.
Ciao!
